While we are disappointed that Colorado voters did not approve Amendment 59, we will not stop trying to improve education in our state and protect our schools. Creating a savings account for education remains a crucial step.
The Yes on 59 campaign assembled the largest and broadest coalition in the state, from the left, the right and the middle. They supported a savings account for education because it is a responsible approach to protect our schools.
The concept of a savings account for education is still something that many Coloradans support and will fight to establish.
